Arts & Technology

The Practice of Art at TRU inspires movements that advance Humankind. TRU Practitioners exercise their freedom to conduct creative research on global, ethical, sociopolitical and cultural expressions. Creative Research at TRU is the source for new tools, methods and aesthetics. This program prepare students for missions in visual arts, movements and cultures. With a focus on rigorous practical, conceptual, and critical studies within the research university, our students develop a cross media understanding of art’s practices in a global context.

A changing world due to Covid-19 demands changes in instruction globally and opens up opportunities for new art forms and a true education. TRU’s Movement Thinking philosophy makes it a resilient institution with the freedom to evolve in a world were the emergence of virulent viruses is restructuring human cultures from the ground up, and education is having its greatest change yet. TRU has many degrees of freedom to instruct including Virtual Reality, Face To Face, Online, Social Robotics amongst to continue its mission.

Art Practice includes Designership Virtual Reality Studio (EngageVR), iStudyXR Learning Design and Engagement Platform, National University of Science and Technology Innovation Hub as well as impact studios with TRU private and public partners in the Americas, Europe and Africa.
